'Your letters are stacking up in my house. Haha.'

When I was on the way to airport yesterday, I alight at Tanah Merah to transfer to the opposite train. BUT.. the train opposite was empty, door closed and was not moving. Then, I read 'TRAIN SERVICE HAS ENDED' on the television, which always shows the arrival time of the train!

Oh no! How am I supposed to get to Changi airport now?

I quickly walked to the control station and asked if there's any bus that go to the airport. The uncle said, ' There's no bus to changi airport already. The only way to get there us by taxi. you can share cab with other people. There's alot of people going airport too.'

Then I thought, oh no, it is midnight already, got midnight charges. Hai, but no choice.

When I was walking to the taxi stand, I was looking around to see if there's anyone whom i could share cab with. Then, there was this guy in front walking with his luggages. 'Oh! This man is surely going to the airport.' then i quickened my steps to catch up with him. I was still deciding to share the same cab with him anot, as he's a guy :/

There's alot of people going airport too. That's what the uncle at the control station said. But, when I reached the taxi stand, there was no one queuing. I saw a man get into a cab and went off. Then subsequently, I saw the guy whom i was deciding whether to share cab with, hailed a cab and putting his luggages into the car boot. 'Oh my god. Should I?'

I looked around to see if there's anyone else to share with. No one. So, I just asked, 'Excuse me, may I share the cab with you to changi airport?'

The man was like in a hurry, and he nodded and said ok. So I get into the taxi nervously. The man closed the door and said he's going to terminal 2. Then, the taxi began to move.

I was struggling to ask the man is terminal 2 and 3 linked? ( I mountain tortoise. haha. Don't know how to travel around the terminals. hee.) Then when the taxi was turning to terminal 2. The man asked me, 'I am going to terminal 2. Is it ok with you?'

Then I very paiseh and asked, ' Is terminal 2 and 3 linked?' The man smiled and told me to take the sky train, which operates till 1am, he said. (But actually, it operates till 2.30am. haha.)

I thanked him and waited for the taxi to stop at his destination, which was terminal 2 gate 6 or 5 (i forgot). I tooked out my wallet and wanted to pay. And he said, 'It's ok.' He took out $20 and gave to the uncle and told him to drive me to terminal 3!

OMG! What a kind man! I was like struggling what to do and he gave the money and alighted. I only managed to say thank you to him when he was stepping out of the taxi. The taxi uncle said he will returned the balance to me, as he thought the man and I were friends. But we weren't! So, I didn't take the change and alighted.

This was how I got to Changi airport yesterday. The man is such a kind man. 'Thank you very much!'
